TERRA GROUP Sailing Regatta

For many years in a row, we have been going to the Mediterranean every year to participate in the corporate race under spread sails. It is a fascinating sight, the team under the control of the captain works as a well-coordinated mechanism, decisions are made accurately and with lightning speed.

A change of activity in combination with active teamwork is exactly what is needed to unite our team, reveal our potentials and the opportunity to prove ourselves. In these conditions, it can be seen as well as possible that responsible, cohesive work and mutual understanding are needed to achieve a common result.

A few years after the start of the annual regattas, many in our team decided to receive an International certificate (diploma) yacht captain (motor and sailing yachts) according to the universally recognized world training system IYT.

Four people from our team have successfully passed the exams and received the right to operate sailing and motor vessels up to 24 meters, regardless of engine power, without restriction on passenger capacity.

After they received international certificates, our regattas began to take place without outside captains and only with the participation of our team, which allowed us to rally even stronger and act much more productively not only on the ship, but also during joint work in Moscow.
