In 2012, the government of the Russian Federation set a task for the administrative apparatus of Moscow, which is to turn the Moscow metropolitan area into a convenient and competitive metropolis, to make it a locomotive for the development of the entire metropolitan region and adjacent subjects of the Federation.

Under the government of Moscow, the State Program of the City of Moscow "Urban Development Policy" for 2012-2018 was developed, the purpose of which was to create more comfortable living conditions for 11.5 million Muscovites with the expansion of administrative boundaries and to prevent transport isolation of new territories from the center of the capital and airports.

A pilot site was selected. Moscow, stopping point Rizhskaya (until November - Rzhevskaya) 1D track of the Kursk direction.

For the project, a reinforced concrete "L" -shaped end element was developed to cover the platforms and its reliable fixation.

Was organized:

Serial production of unique reinforced concrete. L-shaped end concrete element and its testing.
Organization of serial production of lightweight reinforcement elements.
Development and optimization of construction and assembly work methods without stopping train traffic and keeping the platform operating for embarking and disembarking passengers.
Development of the basic forms, quality of the environment, mating elements, cladding and chamfers, which then formed the basis for the recommendations of the CMTU on carrying out construction and installation work at infrastructure facilities.

When creating a design solution for the platform, we took into account an important factor that the environment of public transport communications is the strongest tool for the development of society and the enhancement of general culture, and is part of strategic planning.

Therefore, a comprehensive renovation of the infrastructure facility meets the most modern requirements of Moscow, taking into account its implementation without stopping train traffic and maintaining its work for embarking and disembarking passengers.

The service life of the platform cover is 40 years.

Also, elements of the history of the Rzhevskaya platform were taken into account and added.

The positive results of work at the pilot site were confirmed by the N.I. A.A. Gvozdev with a technical opinion on the survey of the facility after the work with a conclusion on the reliability and extension of the service life of the facility.
